New Features

SCITEQ has redesigned our Rapid Crack Propagation machine with the aim of updating the design, ease exchange of the containment cage and improve user-friendliness.

The RCP machine (small-scale steady-state test (S4 test)) is developed for determining arrest or propagation of a crack initiated in a thermoplastic pipe intended for the supply of gases or liquids at a specific temperature and internal pressure. The machine is built according to ISO 13477. 
Most operations are now gathered in the SCITEQ stand, thus improving flexibility in use.

Despite the new design and improvement of operation, we have succeeded in bringing down manufacturing costs which will benefit our customers in that we are able to offer this equipment at a more competitive price compared to earlier models.
