PPI Corporation decide on SCITEQ for their test labs in Australia and New Zealand

SCITEQ supply equipment for PPI

After some years of successful use of SCITEQ’s pressure testing apparatus in Brisbane, we are proud to announce that SCITEQ has been chosen to supply further equipment to PPI for their Brisbane, Adelaide and Rangiora plants. The substantial order comprises of a mix of pressure test modules, thermo tanks and end closures. When asked to sight their reasons for choosing SCITEQ Mr. David Chappell PPI’s technical manager commented:-

- We like the ease of operation of SCITEQ’s systems.

- For us it is an advantage that we can operate directly at the apparatus or via the PC giving maximum flexibility.

- The equipment has proven reliable, accurate and complies with all requirements of pipe and material product standards. Not even production doubt the results if we get a failure.

- We like the clean and sharp design; the equipment is credit to our test laboratories.

- SCITEQ’s systems are modular. This was particularly useful for this upgrade where our current main unit will be split up and mixed and matched together with new equipment for Adelaide and Rangiora. This modularity allows us to optimise our testing capacity where it’s most required and gain the optimum benefit from our investment.

- Another key factor for us is the ease in which we can increase our systems capacity in the future. We intend to further expand our system in Perth with SCITEQ equipment in the next couple of years.
